We have included some information to help answer many common questions about our sessions. Please feel free to give us a call or send us an email if your question is not answered below and we will be more than happy to help you.

HOW DO I SIGN UP AND BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
The booking process is a super easy 3 step process:
1).  Go to our pricing page and decide which type of session you want to book.
2).  Email or call us at  or 214.219.7003 to book your session time.
3).  Pay your session fee to reserve your spot.

WITH 4 SESSION CHOICES… WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE?
We created 4 different session types to make sure we have something for everyone. Each is based on the number of locations you are wanting as well as the number of outfit changes.  The session type you pick is largely determined by how creative you want to get.  As you move up the ladder, our creative freedom increases so we can showcase all the things that make you uniquely U.

WHAT IS THE MOST COMMON SESSION TYPE BOOKED?
Most of our clients choose the Journey Session because they love the option of adding on one extra location of their choice.  People love the look of the field or the more urban setting of downtown and are thrilled to have this extra creativity in their session.  However, we guarantee that no matter which session you choose, you will be more than thrilled with your images and we promise creativity in all.

HOW MUCH DO SENIOR PICTURES COST?
There is a huge range of what people will spend on senior pictures.  Because we believe each family has unique needs, we do not offer preset packages.  Instead, we let you build your own custom package so you can get EXACTLY what you want. We then reward you in discounts and bonus items depending on what investment level you decide on.  We also offer al la carte portraits to fit a variety of needs if a package is not suited for you.  We are not the least expensive studio nor the most expensive studio in town but we are one of the most artistic and service oriented studios who gets how important all the little details are to you for this special time in your life.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I WEAR?
We cover clothing and hair and makeup many places on this site because it is so important to prepare for your session ahead of time. There are 4 ways we are prepared to help you with looking your best and your clothing choices.  It is all about variety and layering.
1). We have created an extensive list of things to think about when considering what to wear here. Please print this out and use it as a checklist to prepare for your session.
2). We will send you a pdf of fashion styles that are current but that will also stand the test of time.  This is a great resource to use in coming up with how to layer your clothing for the best looks.
3). We have a professional hair and makeup artist available for an additional $75 to make sure you are looking your absolute best.
4). We are here for you as well if you have any questions.  You can email us pictures of what you are thinking and we will happily help you and give you our feedback.

HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION TAKE?
This depends purely on which session you choose.  PLEASE make sure to come prepared and organized with everything ready or show up early to your session to take care of this at the studio ahead of time.  Due to our high demand in our schedule, we want to make sure you maximize your time with us not primping but actually shooting. Please be on time and follow our tips on how to be best prepared at the link above under the ‘What Clothing Should I Wear’ question.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Your clothing, accessories, a bag full of your grooming supplies (we will also have a lot of this on hand in case of an emergency), your mom or a friend, your iphone or ipod to listen to your music, props for any of your sports or other interests and a well rested happy face.  We will take care of the rest and can’t wait to meet you!

WILL THE SAME PRODUCTS BE AVAILABLE TO ME NO MATTER WHICH SESSION STYLE I CHOOSE?
Absolutely!

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY RUSH PICTURES, YEARBOOK AD AND/OR GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS?
We would be more than happy to!  We have a graphic designer on staff to create something perfect just for you!

DO YOU SELL DIGITAL FILES?
We do not sell a disk of images or digital files from your session but we do have our popular ‘Brag Files’ perfect for sharing on Facebook, Twitter and the other social media sites around.  Most people we work with come to us for our artistic creativity, professionalism, expertise, service, and the overall inclusive experience.  They are not wanting full sized files, but more something that they can share with their friends and family.  Our Brag Files are the perfect solution for this and the best part is that we don’t even charge you for them!  Please note Brag Files are only available for purchased images.  So for example, if you order an album, you will get a Brag file for each of the images included in the album. Additionally, we archive all ordered images for you in 3 places across the United States free of charge so the longevity of your images is not a worry.

CAN I GET A BLACK AND WHITE FINISH TO ANY OF MY PORTRAITS?
Absolutely!  There are actually images that are better in black and white allowing the emotional component to be the focus of the image.  We offer 4 finish styles as shown below that are available in any of your images.  We can also do an artistic effect (adding texture) and other special effects as well.  As this largely depends on what you are wanting, we will tell you in your ordering session if additional fees would apply.  Otherwise, all the effects below are complimentary.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM FRAMING?
Yes!!!    We offer quality custom framing at competitive prices to help our families have an all-inclusive experience.  This not only will save you time and research, but will also provide you with our assistance and knowledge of what works best with our photography.  We have a large variety of beautiful frames that allows you to pick up your images ready to be hung in your home or wrapped for a perfect gift for a loved one.  We work with each client to ensure you choose a frame perfect for your image and the style of your home.

WHAT IS A WALL COLLECTION?
These are collections of images that are hung together to make a unique statement.  These are one of our signature specialties and are so popular because they help turn a house into a home…artfully.  We offer a variety of collections which are displayed throughout our studio.  We will make suggestions for you based on your home and the priorities of your shoot for a collection that will help tell your own personal story.

WHAT IF MY SCHOOL HAS A PHOTOGRAPHER THEY HAVE ALREADY CONTRACTED TO DO MY SENIOR PICTURES?
Although you will have to use that photographer for your yearbook picture, that does not mean you are not free to hire whomever you want for more artistic pictures.  Our sessions are geared 100% around you, your interests and are a complete pampered and fun experience.  We are much more than pictures.  We will take care of you from start to finish making sure you look and feel your absolute best.

CAN I BRING MY MOM OR A FRIEND TO THE PHOTO SHOOT?
Of course!!!  It is such a fun time and your mom will have a blast. We encourage your parents to be part of this fun experience of your senior year.  If your mom can’t come, we encourage you to bring a friend.  It will make it even more fun for you, they can get in a shot or two and they will know what your hair “is supposed to look like.”

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL FOR SOME REASON?
Of course!  You will get a full refund as long as we have notice at least 72 hours in advance.

WILL I LOSE MY SESSION FEE IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
As long as you let us know as soon as you can that you need to reschedule your appointment (ideally 48-72 hours in advance), you will not lose your session fee.

WHAT IF I COMPLETELY SPACE MY SESSION DATE AND TIME AND FORGET TO SHOW UP?
Bummer…we know things like this happen. We will happily reschedule you, but due to the high demand we have on our schedule, we will have to charge you another session fee since we will have lost that time slot.

WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SESSION?
Do not worry… we will take care of you and find a new session time for you. Mother Nature sometimes has a mind of her own!

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.

HOW AND WHEN DO I GET TO SEE MY IMAGES AND PLACE MY ORDER?
The most important decisions in the portrait process occur during your ordering appointment.  We take great pride in providing our clients with an personalized, interactive and fun way to place your order.  We will schedule your ordering appointment approximately 7 days after your portrait session to help you in this decision process.  It is very important that all decision makers are present during this time and that you come prepared with any measurements of wall spaces you are interested in working with.  At this appointment, we will present your images in a gorgeous slideshow and then will help you select the products suitable for your home, office and for gifts for friends and family.  We feel this process is the most helpful and a treasured service we can offer our clients.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Your order will be completed approximately 6-8 weeks after we receive your payment. You may pick your order up from the studio or we can schedule a delivery service and/or professional art installer for you. If you need it sooner for any reason, please communicate this with us and we will see what we can do.  Depending on our vendors, there may be a small rush fee.

HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP MY FILES?
Non-ordered images will be held for an additional 45 days after your session date.  After 45 days, non-ordered images will be deleted and all ordered images will be archived for no additional fees.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE MY PICTURES?
WHATTT!?!  That will not happen so I wouldn’t worry much about that. We have an extensive list of things to do and think about to make sure you look and feel your best (please visit our What to Wear link if you have not already).  If you did all you could to follow that list and you still have something you didn’t like about your images, do not worry.  We will talk about it as we want you to loooooovvvveeee your images and will happily do a re-shoot if necessary.  It is our goal to make sure everybody loves their images and that you have a great experience doing so!

WHAT EXACTLY IS A KWP AMBASSADOR?
In a nutshell, KWP Ambassadors work along side our team to help us promote our studio to their friends and fellow classmates while they get lots of exclusive benefits, free stuff and awesome perks!

ARE YOU STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO BE A KWP AMBASSADOR?
If you feel like you would be a great KWP Ambassador, email or call us at 214.219.7003 to let us know you are interested. We can only accept a limited number of students from each class and each school so don’t wait if you are interested.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH WHAT IS GOING ON WITH KWP GRADS?
Facebook and Twitter are our favorite ways to share with you.  We will be constantly updating with new images, fun tidbits and promotions every now and then.  So… like us on our Facebook page and follow on our Twitter page.  Feel free to also tag yourself in any of your pictures and to share and brag away to all your friends.
